PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed, co-op shooter for up to 4 players. You will join the criminal ranks by completing contracts, which includes small time convenience store hits or kidnappings, big league cyber-cryme or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic payday. We think it is awesome that PAYDAY 2 is now ported to VR. Right now it is still in open beta, so it doesn't run too smoothly yet. However we think the VR port is very promising!
We played PAYDAY 2 using the TPCAST for wireless VR on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift (co-op!) and we also used the smooth locomotion mod. Check out our tutorial on how to install the smooth locomotion mod at 17:39.

[How to install the smooth locomotion mod for PAYDAY 2 VR]
Check out our tutorial on how to install the smooth locomotion mod at 17:39.
1. Open the above links.
2. Make sure you have the following files: BLT_release_r7_r19.zip, vrplus-v0.2.4.zip and IPHLPAPI.dll
3. Open the PAYDAY 2 local files folder by going to Steam → right click PAYDAY 2 → Properties → Local Files → Browse Local Files.
4. Unzip the downloaded zip files.
5. Copy the "mods" folder from the BLT_release_r7_r19 folder to the PAYDAY local folder (root).
6. Copy the seperately downloaded IPHLPAPI.dll to the PAYDAY local folder (root).
7. Copy the vrplus folder to "mods" folder of the PAYDAY local folder.
8. Ready to go! Smooth locomotion should be enabled automatically, if it isn't go to Options in-game → Mod Options → VR Improvements → Motion Controller Options → Enable locomotion.
