2021 Update:
Man, I forgot about this video completely. Absolutely hilarious how triggered some folks got in the comments. I especially enjoy the folks who said "who would even need this video" yet managed to find an ancient video - what were you googling for? Also, being triggered about "official". Gotta love people who don't understand incredibly basic SEO and didn't bother to read the description. Thanks for the laughs.

Anyway, great relic of the past. Been doing the same method since and through the various Razer and Corsair mousepads I've used, it's been perfection.

I still think the Goliathus is the best mousepad out there.

-----

Cloth mousepads like the Razer Goliathus are extremely easy to clean! A little bit of water, a cloth, and your hands will get rid of all that sweat from extended gaming sessions, and more importantly, those nasty rings from placing a glass on your mousepad that has condensation on it.

This method for cleaning the Razer Goliathus was recommended to me by Razer, therefore, I deem it the official way to clean it. Source: http://twitter.com/CultOfRazer/status/205405779694592001

DO NOT under any circumstance use a bathtub or sink filled with water for cleaning your cloth mousepad. Odds are you're going to mess it up and the back will peel away from the cloth. I can't say this will happen with all mousepads but the Steelseries QcK+ series suffers from this problem

DO NOT under any circumstance use cleaning solutions (soap, bleach) on your mousepad. You're most likely going to damage it. I've tried the soap route before (again with a Steelseries pad) and it made the cloth on it worse in addition to never fully coming out of it.

Also fair warning. You might end up damaging your mousepad anyways by following this video guide. Not my fault, it worked for me =) You probably applied to much pressure.

TL;DW for those that require it:
1. Obtain one (1) dirty cloth mousepad (Razer Goliathus!!), one (1) soft cloth, and one
2. Dampen soft cloth with water. Do not use cleaning solutions!
3. Gently rub cloth on the surface of the mousepad. Do not use circular motions
4. Let mousepad dry
5. Get back to fragging /killstealing / redditing / goldfarming

Thanks for watching!
