UPDATE July 2016: Forest Giants now drop runes instead of skulls, which open the Jormungahr portal directly.

In this let's play Savage Lands gameplay video we have our best steel armour and Wolfsbane equipped to go hunting forest giants.

We start in Stonemoor next to the inactive Jormungahr portal, which requires four crystal skulls to activate. From here, we see how to go round the island and find the four forest giants Grot, Thuul, Ket and Eldair.

We see how to kill each Savage Lands forest giant, possibly a number of times, to get them to drop their souls (along with everwood and more). We take the souls, see how to use to them to access dungeons that contain the crystal skulls.

Once we have all four Savage Lands crystal skulls we return to Stonemoor to activate the Jormungahr portal and access the dragon island. Rather than, you know, just walking across the ice...
