In episode 1 of our let's play Starbound Toxic Lair series, we're inspired by the end of our Volcano Colony series to build a new base on a toxic, poison ocean planet. The twist is that we're going to do it underwater, in the poison itself!
We're not building a colony in let's play Starbound Toxic Lair, but an evil lair that will have rooms fit for an evil genius and boobytraps galore. Take that, so-called Mr Bond!
In our first episode of let's play Starbound Toxic Lair we explore our new toxic planet by foot, boat and hoverbike. We go from its sludge-covered islands to the watery, waste-filled depths, to even deeper underground where there are plenty of familiar Starbound sub-biomes.
We also dodge the acid rain to begin building the top of our base on the ocean surface, with an elevator that climbs down into the ocean and the first of our rooms, in Let's play Starbound Toxic Lair ep 1. Even without meteors, this could be the most dangerous of our Starbound builds yet!
