Salutations! If I'm getting this right... 1 hr read 1 hr video 1 hr coding 1 hr fiddling code? I couldn't understand the last one but seems fair. However I feel like I learn more with reading what I see, then coding what I see in short snippets, then reading so does it have to be exactly 1 hr read? Going to spend my Spring Break understanding c++ fully as I couldn't connect objects to objects in one test as good. Tests are what really make me nervous because I don't have my console or feel I have to write down a lot of pseudo code before understanding, oh this is the counter, oh this is where you put the counter, oh don't forget to make sure to increment ++ after your done with loop to resize array, etc. How do you defeat this nervousness? I try writing code or algorithm I don't fully know 3-10 times when I can but I still forget code and what's being asked of me.? Coding on paper is hard because I cross out a lot of things and in the end I make a mess of it all.

How to Overcome Fear in Programming and my answer is you need fight with it. Fear in Programming is very common but if you work hard and clear the concept than it won't be a big problem. You need to learn how to overcome fear by moving on.
Now for the How to Become Successful Programmer and If you want to be a Successful Programmer than you need have a solid Understanding C++ so the fear will be gone.
If you can't understand something than come back it latter and even still you are facing problems in programming than maybe programming career is not for you.
