Sporty’s Air Scan II Aviation Radio/Scanner gives pilots and aviation buffs two radios in one. With our exclusive Aviation Interrupt feature you can listen to a ballgame, talk-radio or music and never miss an aviation transmission. Equipped with Bluetooth, the Air Scan II can easily pair to a phone or iPad for playing music from your favorite app. Perfect for the desk at your FBO or your workbench in the hangar, the Air Scan II is an easy way to monitor aviation traffic while still listening to your favorite music.

Memory
Store up to 10 different frequencies from each tunable source using the Preset feature. This allows you to quickly scroll through your local frequencies without having to type them in every time. The 10 aviation presets are used for the Aviation Interrupt feature.

Aviation Interrupt™
While listening to your favorite AM/FM station or Bluetooth/Aux source, the Air Scan II silently scans up to 10 preset channels for activity. When a signal is detected on any of these channels, it interrupts the music and plays the aviation transmission. When the transmission ends, the Air Scan II “returns you to your regularly scheduled program.

Bluetooth/Aux In
Don’t want to listen to FM or AM radio stations? Use the Bluetooth feature to pair your phone or tablet to the radio for listening with your favorite app. You can also use a standard 3.5 aux input cable (sold separately) to plug in your phone or iPad if it has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

External Speaker
Use the dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack to connect the Air Scan II to external speakers. Here at Sporty's Pilot Shop, we connect an Air Scan II to the ramp speakers, so linemen never miss a radio call.
