The new Tamagotchi Connection 2024 re-release from Bandai does not natively have a "Pause" feature like the V3 it was based on. However, there's a workaround that does essentially the same thing.

Press the "B" button to visit the clock screen, then press "A" and "C" simultaneously to set the time. Leave the Tamagotchi on this screen and it will remain "paused."

To unpause, set the clock.
