Some people have always asked how I pull of Fast Lock On Bursts (or SLOB as it's often called) in my gameplays with a controller, and while usually I just explain it to them in the comments, I figured that having the ease of just showing my inputs on a video and explaining it would help a lot more.

I've titled this Tutorial "Quick Version" because I may do a more in depth tutorial showing this tech's uses, it's variations (there are quite a few), and of course an ending montage as I usually do my tutorials. But this tutorial should give ya a basic understanding of the tech and how to perform it.

Simply put, Fire the Heavy Cannon, doesn't matter if it's with Precision Bolt, Micro Missiles, or the Base Fire of the Gun, Switch to the Rocket while holding fire and when the Rocket Fires, let go of the fire trigger and hold the Mod/Lock On Trigger, from there you have two options:

1. Fire the Burst and immediately let go of the Lock On Trigger which will cause you to fire two quick bursts (assuming you have the Mastery Unlocked).

2. Fire the Burst and Continue Holding Lock On which will keep the Rocket Launcher locked on the Target Infinitely until you let go of the Lock On Trigger.

Both forms of the tech have their uses in certain scenarios and it's up to you how and when you want to use either.

Keep in mind Plasma Rifle, Chaingun, and even the Sentinel Hammer can be used to perform this tech in an identical manner, when I make my more in depth video on this tech I shall explain those better.
