Video Transcript:
Step 1. Open a web browser, navigate to Discord.com, and then sign in to your Discord account if you're not signed in already. You'll land on your Discord home screen.
Step 2. Click the "Settings" icon next to your Discord profile icon at the bottom of the screen. A screen with Discord settings options opens.
Step 3. Make sure "My Account" is selected in the menu on the left side of the screen. Scroll down the list of options on the right side of the screen until you get to the Account Removal section, and then click "Delete Account" in this section. A Delete Account window opens asking if you're sure you want to delete your Discord account, and letting you know that this will immediately log you out of your Discord account and you won't be able to log back in.
Step 4. If you want to move forward with deleting your Discord account, enter your account password and then click "Delete Account." You'll be bounced out to the Discord login screen. Additionally, you'll receive an email from Discord letting you know that you're Discord account will be scheduled for permanent deletion in 14 days. If you change your mind and don't want to permanently delete your Discord account, all you have to do is log back in to your Discord account at any time in the next 14 days.
