How to pin a WhatsApp message. You can pin one message to the top of a chat. The message will stay at the top of the chat as a banner for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. Tap on the pinned message banner to navigate to the message in the chat. A pinned message is displayed as a banner at the top of the chat until it's unpinned.

1. Launch WhatsApp on your Smartphone.
2. Open an existing individual or group chat.
3. Touch and hold a message in the chat and select the Pin option, then set the pin duration to 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days (the default pin duration is set to 7 days)
