156Divinity Original Sin : Enhanced Edition can be a very complex game. And while I do have a video talking about Divinity Original Sin in a beginner’s style format. There are certain people who are looking for more than just that.
Scoundrel is THE GO TO SKILL LINE when it comes to Rouge-like combat; This is where you’ll find specific skills in relation to using daggers alongside Invisibility, Maneuverability, and a wide selection of status effects. This is your thief based skill line and as such, obviously, if you’re gonna build a thief or rogue. This is the skill line you're gonna need.
One of the key weaknesses of being an assassin type class is its survivability, because of how squishy these types of characters are, they can get easily one-shotted or hard crowd controlled if not played well enough. Out of all the skill lines, this might be the most difficult to play as it requires a lot of careful planning and board control. It’s a fun and powerful skill line when you get the hang of it. So don’t go into it thinking it's going to be easy. Cuz it won't.
Being a pure thief, rogue, assassin, or whatever you wanna call it, solely focused on Scoundrel alone is highly not recommended and as such I highly recommend mixing and matching different skill lines as you go. This will make the battlefield more interesting, and will inevitably be more fun.
