How to Play Guild Wars 2 on Linux Update
1. You will need to go to ( https://www.winehq.org/) and download and install Wine if you haven’t already.
2. Next You will need to go to ( https://www.playonlinux.com/en/) and download and install Play on Linux if you haven’t already.
3. Install GPU divers and Vulkan ( https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/m... ).
4. You will need a restart after change GPU drivers.
5. Once rebooted open Play on Linux and install Wine 4.1 – staging 64 bit, download 32 bit as well
6. Make a Guild Wars 2 account download and Guild Wars 2.exe file ( https://www.guildwars2.com/en/ )
7. Next go to ( https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v1.9.4 ) and download dxvk-1.9.4.
8. Install Guild wars 2 using Wine 4.1 – staging 64 bit and make a GW 2 folder
9. Once install and updating close out. Open Configure under your Guild Wars 2 game and add these Arguments -dx9single -autologin
10. Next go to the Wine tab and click on Configure Wine and go to the Libraries tap and add d3d9 b,n next Enable CSMT and VAAPI. Last drop the dxvk-1.9.4 D3D9.dll 64 bit file in the guild wars 2 folder.
11. Let the game fully update or you will get lag spikes when playing the game.
To get the blue back ground like my wine then wine configure wine your screen size
12. Once Guild wars 2 is fully update enjoy playing the game.
