How to play Guild Wars on Mac
Instructions:
Make a Guild Wars 2 account ( https://www.guildwars2.com/en/ ) if you haven’t already.
Go to Guild Wars site( https://www.guildwars.com/en/download ) buy the game (if you haven’t already) and download the game.
Go to PlayonMac ( https://www.playonmac.com/en/ ) to download and install the version that works on your Mac, download and install XQuartz If asked.
Go to ( https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v1.7.3 ) and download DXVK 1.7.3.
Go to PlayonMac and install Wine 3.12-staging 32bit
Install Guild Wars with Wine 3.12-staging 32bit
Make sure your using Wine 3.12-staging.
After installing Guild Wars, go to Configure, Miscellaneous, open program’s directory, copy and paste d3d10 d3d10_1 d3d10core 32 bit into the Guild Wars folder
Next go to Wine tab and click on Configure Wine, make sure your windows version is 7 or higher. Guild Wars no longer supports Windows XP.
Next click on the Libraries tap and add d3d10 n,b d3d10_1 n,b d3d10core n,b
If you can ask a person you know who has Guild Wars for the Gw.dat file or fine the full Gw.dat file else where, so your not downloading all the time
