Step 1 - Go to https://la.mail.ru/download and download the My.Games launcher.

Step 2 - Go to https://la.mail.ru/ click register at the top right, clock sign in with more and click the @ symbol - then create your Mail.RU account with valid mobile number. EDIT - You no longer require a Russian email account and can sign up however you prefer!

Step 3 - Go to the ExitLag website or use my affiliate link https://www.exitlag.com/refer/6049604 to sign up for 3 days of free VPN.

Step 4 - Setup ExitLag to route your Lost Ark RU client & My.Games App via Moscow, do the same for whichever VPN you use.

Step 5 - Go to https://lostarkdatabase.com/english-patch/ and scroll down to the section for downloading the English Patch for Russian Client.

Download, extract and run LaoTranslation.exe as administrator, the first time you run it will ask you to update, once complete check the auto detected install location for Lost Ark is correct, then click English at the top right.

This will kick off downloading and applying the English translation patch.

Make sure the tick box for restore original on close at the bottom right is selected.
EDIT - You no longer need to do this every time. Run the LAO translator after a game patch and leave it. If you have any issues, tick the box = run and close the game = patch = run again without tick box.

Step 6 - Click Play Lost Ark from the My.Games App.

REMEMBER
You NEED to apply the ENGLISH PATCH before you launch the game and also activate your VPN BEFORE you open the My.Games App and run the Lost Ark RU client.
