The Brewfest holiday event is here, lasting until Tuesday 4th October and this is a public service announement to run Coren Direbrew 5 times a day to make sure you snag the Direbrew Remote item before its gone.
Why?
Its a 2nd hearhtstone in disguise.
If your Heathstone is on cooldown, join a party, use the item to teleport to Blackrock Depths, leave the party and you'll kick of the Ghetto Heart timer to teleport you back to your hearthstones home location.
Another tip is to use a macro to invite a non-existent character to party, then when the invite is pending, right click on your character frame and leave party. I've got the macros for this in the description and comments if you need.
The drop itself is quite rare and with the clock already ticking for the event, make sure you try as many times as you can per day to increase your chances of getting this useful item.
Of course there are several powerful trinkets that drop from each fight too, and a chance for mounts - for more info on the Brewfest event, the quest and trinket drops - check out my video and good luck with your farming!
The NPC's of Azeroth are setting up for the in-game Brewfest holiday event. Lets take a look at when is starts, when it ends and the epic trinkets, mounts and rewards you can get with ease.
First things first, the Brewfest event brings in a daily quest that gives you a guaranteed epic trinket drop from one of these shown on screen, with also a chance at a dagger, mace or toy that teleports your party to the Grim Guzzler which is handy for repeating this daily quest throughout the event - and there is also an even smaller chance to have one of two Brewfest epic ground mounts drop.
The event starts September 20th running through to October 4th - giving you a total of fourteen attempts at the daily quest.
To get started you can pick up the intro quest from various NPC's in each of your factions major cities, this will send you to the main Brewfest quest hub's - so either Ironforge or Orgrimmar. As far as I am aware you can also simply head to these areas and pick up an equivalent intro quest named Welcome To Brewfest - this is essential as it unlocks the daily quest for those sweet rewards.
Whilst there are various mini-game style quests you can play and complete during Brewfest. The one you're going to want to focus is the daily quest itself named Save Brewfest - you can pick up this up from the road towards Razor Hill in Durotar for the Horde, or around Kharanos in Dun Morogh for the Alliance.
This quest will send you to the Grim Guzzler in Blackrock Depths to speak with an undercover spy who asks you to insult Coren Direbrew who doesn't take it all that well and a fight breaks out.
Defeat Coren and pray to RNGesus for good loot and high rolls.
Depending on the implementation we get of the Brewfest event there are a couple things to note.
Once you've completed the intro quest, you can walk into BRD and click on a pile of books or teleportation device to the right of the entrance portal to get yourself to the Grim Guzzler quickly.
Or if you have completed the ram racing mini-game quest at the Brewfest quest hubs, you can use the reward to teleport to the Grim Guzzler - and finally, you may also be able to purchase the Grim Guzzler teleportation toy with Brewfest event tickets from the event vendor once you've completed enough mini-games.
Unfortunately things haven't been made very clear or communicated to us from Blizzard but with the NPC's setting up the event right now in-game, I thought it would be worth covering this just in case we get a chance at some cool loot during Brewfest.
