All major online networks have now achieved full compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Earlier this month, IVAO updated its 'Altitude' client and MTL library, becoming the first network to announce readiness for the new simulator. This allows users to join virtual skies with fellow pilots and controllers using the updated IVAO Altitude client, which is available for download from their website.
Following IVAO, PilotEdge has also confirmed compatibility with MSFS 2024. Although PilotEdge didn’t have early access to the simulator, they have since updated and tested their client to ensure functionality. Their version 1.6.0 is now compatible with MSFS 2024, and they are developing a dedicated support page for the new simulator, which will include setup instructions and other details.
Users of both networks should note the need to disable AI traffic, ground traffic, and certain accessibility features like auto-tuning when using MSFS 2024 for optimal performance.
