In the VENN board game, players divide into teams and build their VENN diagrams using the circle boards in the game. Then each team picks a clue giver who will draw a random number card from the VENN number deck. That card will give them the 3 words that they are trying to lead their teammates to. When a round of the VENN boardgame starts, the clue givers will begin laying their art cards on their VENN diagram, using the cards to lead their teammates to their 3 words. When one team thinks they know the words, they call VENN, and then the round is scored. A game of the VENN Party Game ends when one team has 12 points.
In this Kidsplaining board game tutorial, Jarred and Peyton will teach you everything you need to know how to play VENN, from setup to scoring, and even the rules for Cooperative play.
Kidsplaining is a tutorial series on the Play the Game channel where Jarred (12) and Peyton (9) teach you how to play board games. Play the Game also features the Play the Game Playthrough series - a high production board game play through series featuring 7 cameras and on screen graphics to help the viewer follow everything going on in the game. The Play the Game was formally called Kidsplaining.
From the Publisher:
Your goal in Venn is to get your teammates to guess a secret code first. Twelve word cards will be laid out at random, and the code that the cluegivers see has three numbers on it from 1-12.
Three large plastic circular overlays in yellow, blue, and pink are laid out on the table, with the circles overlapping to create a large Venn diagram. Each cluegiver has a hand of cards showing absurdist imagery, and they'll take turns placing cards into various sections of the Venn diagram to try to give clues to their teammates about the words indicated by the code.
