Samsung UHD 4K Monitor - Sluggish Mouse Issue
ROOT CAUSE:

1. The UJ59 includes a HDMI cable of good quality, but there are two HDMI Ports.

2. Also there is a DP (Display Port).

3. The HDMI Port Labeled (1) Only allows a Maximum 30 Hz Monitor Refresh Rate.

4. The HDMI Port Labeled (2) Allows the Proper 60Hz Monitor Refresh rate that is consistent with modern 4K gaming and HD video playback etc.

SOLUTION:

1. Shut down the computer and unplug the included HDMI cable from the monitor.

2. Use the included HDMI Cable with the monitor and connect this to the HDMI Port Number 2 on the Samsung Monitor.

3. Restart the computer and make sure to use the toggles in the back of the monitor to select HDMI Port Number 2 as the input port.

4. If your computer still is not running at 60 Hz, go into the display properties for your computer and see if 60 Hz is available... if not you may be having a more serious problem with your video card and should check that out.

5. At this point your computer / monitor should be using 60 Hz instead of 30 Hz.
