What’s up guys!

I recently accomplished the impossible task of making it to master rank while solo queueing with Blissey, and I learned a lot along the way. In this video I'll be going over the build I used, and how to protect and support your team like an immortal god.

Alright, so first I'm going to go over the items I used in my build. For the battle item I used the eject button because Blissey is very slow, and the way I play her I try to push lane a lot, potentially leaving myself open for enemy ganks, so I need an easy quick getaway.

For my held items, since I'm solo queueing I need Items that can benefit my team, but also items that can keep me alive and well if my teammates decide to feed me to the wolves. So I typically use the buddy barrier to give my already super supporter even more supporting capabilities. I also used the Aeos Cookie and the Score Shield for a couple of reasons. Like I said, since I'm solo queueing I need a way to protect myself in case I'm playing with a terrible team. With the boosted HP from the Aeos cookie I can get an extra 200 HP every time I score. That combined with the Score Shield makes it even easier to get this boosted HP. And that brings me to my next point.

The main goal of Pokemon Unite is to score, and to ultimately score more than the opposing team, obviously. That being said, if you're not scoring or at least helping your teammates score, you're not being very helpful to your team. With my Blissey build I push the lane as hard as I can every single game so I can score a lot early on and make use of that Aeos cookie.

In this game I scored 9 times. That's an extra 1800 HP to Blissey's already astronomically high max base HP of 10,000. The more you can score in a game with the Aeos cookie the easier it will be to stay alive supporting your teammates in those pivotal team files.

Next I'm going to go over the abilities I used, and why I chose them. Blissey does have one attack ability, but I don't think it's really worth it, especially if you are trying to be an all around support tank. So I’m not a huge fan of egg bomb, and I find it’s uses very situational. So for Blissey’s “R” I use Helping Hand because it turns all of your basic attacks into boosted attacks for a short time, and provides you and surrounding teammates with a short speed boost as well. Then once upgraded to Helping Hand +, it provides a boost to the basic attacks of surrounding teammates making it very easy to push lanes and even take down Articuno.

For my “ZR” I will pick Soft-Boiled over Safeguard every time. I know that some people argue that Safeguard is way better when playing against a team that has a Mr. Mime or an Alolan Ninetails to negate their status effects, but I find that the opportunity to constantly heal my teammates is more important than being able to negate status effects because if my teammates are dead, it won’t even matter if they are temporarily stunned or not…because they’re dead.

Now, let’s go over gameplay. When you’re solo queueing Pokemon Unite, it is near impossible to win if you have a crap team, even more so if you are playing as Blissey. Blissey is regarded as one of the hardest pokemon to play as when trying to climb ranked solo, but with my help, you’ll be in master rank in no time. If I’m playing with a half-decent team I try to push my lane AS HARD AS I CAN. Get those center Eiscue, steal the opponents Eiscue, and be ready for the bears every time they spawn. Then get ready for Drednaw and Rotom respectively. And don’t forget to score as much as you can. Put that Aeos cookie to work and boost your HP to immortal god status.

When you’re in the late game, it is vital that you keep your team alive. Try to follow a majority of your teammates wherever they go. Even if half of your team is at Rotom, and no one is at Drednaw, just accept the lose at Drednaw and assist your teammates up top. There is nothing a Blissey can do against Drednaw by herself.

...

Thanks for watching guys, let me know how I did in the comments below and if you have any suggestions for my Blissey build and strategy. And don’t forget to like and subscribe!
