With Soundflower you can easily record all system audio output on a Mac without the need for any additional microphones or audio devices. Soundflower is able to redirect both audio output and audio input, allowing for easy audio routing to and from other applications in OS X.



This video demonstrates the general Mac sound output of iTunes being sent through Soundflower, which is then recorded by the screencasting application. Any other app will work, including popular audio editing apps like Garageband.
