Are you tired of the default 1:1 recordings from your Oculus Quest /2?

Fear not! There is a very easy way to record wide screen videos of your gameplay in VR!

TIMESTAMPS:

00:21 - Install and run SideQuest on your PC (short tutorial on how to install SideQuest: https://youtu.be/vtK8eUAhdOA
00:34 - Make sure your Oculus Quest /2 is connected to your PC with a USB-A cable.
00:40 - Click on the "Run ADB commands" button.
00:48 - One by one, run the following commands. Make sure you click "Run command" after every command:

adb shell setprop debug.oculus.capture.width 1920
adb shell setprop debug.oculus.capture.height 1080
adb shell setprop debug.oculus.capture.bitrate 10000000
adb shell setprop debug.oculus.foveation.level 0
adb shell setprop debug.oculus.capture.fps 60

Try to record a video from your VR set to make sure the commands worked.

1:27 - You will need to run these commands after every time you power off your Quest and then turn it back on.
