Now that the Frosty Planet and Bionic Booster Packs have come out, I've wanted to talk about my plans for recycling Water as much as possible in a future ONI: Spaced Out run. In my previous video (   • How To Use The Max Number of Oil Well...  ), I talked about plans to maintain up to 400 Duplicants by using a Sour Gas Boiler and Critters to recycle and generate enough Water to supply 35 Oil Wells. In this video, I've updated my previous maths a little and accounted for a few comments on the previous video. Additionally, I talk about some different pathways for recycling Water involving Spigot Seals and Glossy Dreckos, and even adding Fertiliser to the mix. With Glossy Dreckos eating Bristle Blossoms, this Water recycling approach can be taken even without any Oil Wells. I also talk about how many critters each approach requires and the pros and cons of each route.

With even more efficiency than before, my plan for 2025 is to complete a small-scale version of the Glossy Drecko + Fertiliser setup on a world seed with no Oil Biome, and sustain about 40 Duplicants off of such a setup in a completely closed loop, i.e. no geysers or resources coming into the colony on the home planet. It's literally free real estate.
