Show hidden files in file explorer

delete the folder C:\Users\Your username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe

run the following command in powershell

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -Verbose}
