4,227In today's guide I show you how to release zip tie without cutting. This comes in handing if you wish to reuse a zip tie without using scissors to cut it. I show you two easy methods on how to unlock zip ties using your fingers or pliers.
Almost all zip ties are reusable but many do not include instructions on how to release them. Most likely because they want you to keep purchasing more zip ties. They do offer actual releasing zip ties that make the task a bit easier but all zip ties can be released, unlocked and reused using the two methods I demonstrate in my tutorial video.
If you cannot get easy access to the releasing tab on the zip tie, I recommend using method two which works just as well!
