This works for NBA 2K23 / 2K22 / 2K21 / 2K20 / 2K19 & 2K18 (2K16 and 17 files are slightlly different)

00:00 open PNG file with 7 Zip
00:06 remove useless LOD 1 to 5 .model files in the png file
00:10 edit hihead scne file with Notepad++
00:20 look for 2nd lod entry or "hihead_LODShape1" entry as reference point
00:25 select the previous line to mostly the end of the text file
00:42 delete the line to remove lod 1 to 5 entries
00:50 replace also lod 1 to 5 in object section by hihead (highest LOD)
