How to Rename This PC in Windows 10/8.1

Method 1
Step 1. Select This PC and rename it via F2 key, or Right mouse click

Step 1. Open Settings and go to System-About.
Step 2. In the About menu, you should see the name of your computer next to PC name and a button that says Rename PC. Click this button.
Step 3. Type the new name for your computer. You can use letters, numbers and hyphens -- no spaces. Then click Next.
Restart your computer. Your computer name updated.
