Game update 7 of the Savage Lands early access update introduces a way to repair armour and weapons. You just need some of the raw materials used to make the item, and possibly a forge.

Savage Lands armour is repaired piece by piece - you don't need all the raw materials at once. But the interface is a little confusing, so this video shows you how to use the crafting screen to refresh both armour and weapons.

We also see other new stuff in the Savage Lands armour repair update, such as the new way to find your corpses from recent deaths. Plus some geographical changes on the island itself!
