On Today's Helpful how to video, I will show you how to replace your small block Chevy thermostat, maybe you have no heat and its stuck open or maybe its stuck closed and your overheating, dont worry its the same on all years, This thermostat replacement is pretty simple and easy and about anyone should be able to do it at home or anywhere without many tools.

First you will need two loosing the two thermostat bolts that is holding the goose neck onto the intake where the thermostat is stored, then Gentle tap or pry to remove the housing as seen in the video, remove the thermostat, and scrape the off the old gasket. then place the new thermostat in your SBC's intake manifold with the pointed end up like in the video, Set the new gasket in place and install the thermostat housing and bolts, you can use thread sealant on the bolts sometimes they leak, its your choice...
