The reset process depends on the type of remote you have. Follow the steps for your model:
1. Alexa Voice Remote (1st & 2nd Gen), Basic Edition Remote
Unplug the Firestick from power:
Wait 60 seconds.
Press and hold buttons:
Simultaneously press and hold the Back, Menu, and Left Directional buttons for 10 seconds.
Remove batteries:
Take out the remote’s batteries.
Reconnect the Firestick:
Plug the Firestick back in and wait for the home screen to load.
Reinsert batteries:
Insert the batteries into the remote.
Re-pair the remote:
Hold the Home button for 10 seconds to re-pair the remote with the Firestick.
