i doing this on my laptop asus x42d
after doing this my laptop run this game 40 - 50 fps on high setting

first go to

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\EA Games\Dead Space 3
open system.txt
change
Window.Fullscreen = false (must be false or it wont work)
Window.Height = 360
Window.Width = 640

save the setting then run the game

after the game start press windows key
then press the maximize button so u can play full screen( not really full but...)

if you put the fullscreen to true, the game will run on 1024x768
