The chances are you haven't cleaned you PS5 sine you got it back in November or since then. Since you're going to be opening it up, its an excellent opportunity to give your console the good clean its begging for. fans that are caked in dust don't work as well, the console gets hotter and therefore doesn't work as well.

In this video I show you how to open up the PS5 safely, without damaging anything and how to thoroughly clean all the cooling components including the intake vents, the fan, the faceplates, the PS5 body and the air outlet.
