Steps:
Mac hides a lot of its internal files to protect the average user from accidentally editing them, however if you want to see the hidden files it's easy to do so.
Open up a finder window. On your keyboard, press Command , Shift & “.” at the same time. This will toggle hidden folders to be visible during this finder session.
You can now access the hidden files that weren’t there before. If you want you can hide them again by pressing Command, Shift and ‘full stop’ , but note that closing and reopening the finder window will also re-hide them.
Some hidden files are located in the library folder. To get there easily, click the go button from the top toolbar and then hold down “alt” on your keyboard. While its held down, “library” will appear and you can click it to open it.
