New HD character system
"7 Days to Die 1.0" introduces a brand-new character system built from scratch, featuring new high-definition models, 1st and 3rd person animations and all-new skin and hair shaders to enhance the gameplay experience. This comprehensive system enhances the feel of the game and allows for a personalized and immersive gaming experience. You can now see your hands, the character's gender, skin color and the real gloves you are wearing. Enjoy the new full HD models on vehicles and in the user interface. With the new head tracking system, you can see what your co-op friend is looking at.
New armor/clothing system
Along with a brand-new character system, version 1.0 will also introduce a brand new, high-definition armor and clothing system. This extensive new system enhances player immersion and allows for a customized and engaging gameplay experience that involves looting, finding, crafting and upgrading armor.
New animal models
Furthermore, 7 Days to Die has been working on updating all animal models to match the modern aesthetic of the new HD zombies. The system includes new models, more realistic animations and a brand-new high-tech fur shader to make hair and fur even more realistic.
New Challenge System
In this update, 7 Days to Die has removed the old tutorial quest and diary system and replaced it with a completely new challenge system. The challenge system is designed to make it easy for new players to get into the game while offering good rewards. In addition, long-term challenges keep players engaged with great rewards while teaching more advanced mechanics.
