Today im showing a tutorial on how to setup a RaspberryPi USB Camera for a Timelapse, this is done using the "motion" software via the terminal installation.
In the scenario I am using a Microsoft USB webcam, not the internal camera that can be installed via the ribbon connector direct to the RaspberryPi.
These are the setting is have used
Make sure 'daemon' is ON.
Set 'framerate' 100
'Stream_quality' should be 100.
Change 'Stream_localhost' to OFF.
Change 'webcontrol_localhost' to OFF.
Set 'quality' to 100.
Set 'width' & 'height' to 1280 & 720.
Set 'Snapshot_interval' equals to 10. ( every 10 seconds 1 photo will be taken )
Set 'target_dir' as the path that you want or leave as default
