How To Setup & Install Exodus Wallet 2022?
0This video will cover setting up an Exodus wallet and start receiving, sending, and storing your cryptocurrency.
Exodus is a desktop multi-currency wallet that supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dash. You can receive crypto by scanning or sharing your unique QR code or address with your exodus wallet. You can send or exchange money and crypto. In order to make your funds under control and totally protected.
Follow these steps to set up your Exodus wallet:
1. Open Exodus app (make sure that you have downloaded the exodus wallet application on your device if not go to the Play store for Android and App Store for ios)
2. Tap on Get Started (the portfolio page of exodus will open now, here you won't need an account and land on this page. Simply go and get access to your secret phrases so that you'll be able to protect your privacy on your wallet where your funds are stored in)
3. Go to the icon that look like a small window down below and tap it on (the dashboard page will open)
4. Tap on the Security option at the top, now you'll see a Backup option
5. Tap on Backup and get access to your Secret Phrases (with this secret phrase you can access your funds; so make sure you're in a safe private place before continuing)
6. Now, tap on the View secret phrase (all of the two secret phrases will be displayed on the screen at the bottom of the page)
7. Simply, Tap on Press And Hold to reveal your Secret Phrases (write down the Secret Phrases in a paper and hide it in a safe place. Remember never take a screenshot of your Secret Phrases because it is not safe)
8. Now, go back and create a Passcode by tapping on the Security Passcode option to secure your wallet on the phone; Confirm your Passcode by typing it again (you've enabled the security for your wallet)
9. Tap on Continue (you can also secure your wallet with your fingerprint by tapping on secure with fingerprint option displayed on the screen)
10. Now go back to the Profile, press the Settings button to enable the notifications anytime you receive funds on your wallet. (You can also set desired local currency by tapping on the currency option so that you can display the fiat amounts on your wallet from your profile screen)
11. Go to the Assets button and scroll down to see all the available assets on your exodus wallet (to activate any asset, enable the switch right next to it and this will be added to your portfolio page)
