The instructions:
Go to %PROGRAMDATA%\Epic\EpicGamesLauncher\Data\Manifests.
Open the .item file with Notepad or another text editor (the file name varies for each user).
Using the Find function (Ctrl+F), search for 2KLauncher/LauncherPatcher.exe. There will be exactly one entry.
Replace the text with Build/FinalEpic/BioshockHD.exe.
Restart Epic Games Store.
