SUMMARY OF EACH STEP
πŸ“™ Step 1: Get the square-1 into cube shape. "Millennium falcon" ➑️ scallop/scallop ➑️ barrel/barrel ➑️ kite/kite ➑️ cube.
πŸ“™ Step 2a: Orient the corners so all the yellow (or black) corners are on top and all the white corners are on the bottom. This can be done intuitively. Just make sure you misalign the top or bottom by 1 when slicing so that you retain cube shape.
πŸ“™ Step 2b: Orient the edges so that the top is completely yellow (or black) and the bottom is completely white.
(Optional step: If you can recognise that you will get parity, perform the "mid solve" parity alg here)
πŸ“™ Step 3a: Permute the corners so that they're all in the correct positions and only the edges need fixing. There are 6 possible cases here: diag/diag, adj/diag, adj/adj, adj/solve, diag/solved, and fully solved.
πŸ“™ Step 3b: Permute the edges using the magical adj/adj edge algorithm! Almost every case can be solved by using this alg several times. 50% of the time, the cube will be solved here! If you still have 2 edges that cannot by solved, perform the super yucky adjacent parity alg. THE END!
