How to solve the AWARD WINNING Hanayama Cast Radix - solution (spoilers) #mechanicalpuzzle
14Today I am going to give you the solution to the Cast Radix by Hanayama! I was checking my channel history and realise that my previous Hanayama solution video was posted on the 8th of June, felt like such a long time ago!
It is always refreshing to solve a Hanayama puzzle, they are usually challenging yet fun, and the build quality of these metal puzzles are really great for the price.
This is the Cast Radix by Akio Yamamoto and it is a Grand Prize winner in the 2005 International Puzzle Party. It is rated as a 5 star difficulty, so it is not easy at all.
At first I thought the structure felt so loose and I thought it was going to be a ride in the park. Yet after tackling it for a while I realise there are a lot of subtle moves in this three piece interlocking puzzle. Yet no force is required and the whole solution is super smooth if done correctly.
