it results an error:
gosnowflake.(*defaultLogger).Warn - DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS envvars looks to be not set.

resolution:
vi ~/.bashrc
export DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=$XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/bus
source ~/.bashrc

execute again:
vault version
