And a set of copy and paste commands to test out yourself:
/kill @e[type=skeleton]
/kill @e[type=spider]
/kill @e[type=creeper]
Command block spam:
PE: /gamerule commandblockoutput false
Java: /gamerule CommandBlockOutput false
If you need to gather materials from mobs and require mob drops to be on, but don't want to have rotten flesh or hostile mob drops everywhere, use a command block with /kill @e[nbt={Item:{id:"minecraft:rotten_flesh"}}] to remove rotten flesh, or replace "rotten flesh" with the item of your choice.
