FAQ
Q: It keeps saying "Java is not recognized as an internal or external source". What do I do? This article will help you fix that issue.
A: Follow it step-by-step:
http://RKT.us/6yG
Q: I did everything correctly, but no one can join my server! What should I do?
A: Make sure that you're port forward has your IPv4 as your internal IP, and that you have both UDP and TCP being forward. Most routers have the TCP/UDP option that will work, but some do require you to add them separately. Also, make sure the port that is forwarded is "25565".
Q: After typing my default gateway into my browser, I don't get a login box/window. How do I fix it?
A: Contact your ISP (internet service provider), and tell them you are trying to login to your router and the default gateway didn't pull up a login page. They should be able to help you.

About this video: This video shows you exactly how to get your Minecraft 1.8.8 server in Windows 10. This is a Windows 10 server tutorial for Minecraft 1.8.8, so if you want to know how to get a Minecraft server in Windows 10, this video shows you exactly how walking you through everything from downloading the 1.8.8 server file, to agreeing to the EULA, to port forwarding and joining your server. It covers everything.
Speaking of port forwarding, this video shows you how to port forward on a Linksys Smart Wifi router and shows you the general process for port forward so you can know what to be looking for on your very own router. It also provides a source to get guides on port forwarding your very own router.
Now, I do want to mention that the 1.8.8 Minecraft server you are getting here IS NOT a public server. While anyone can join it, you do not want to give the IP address of this Minecraft server out to anyone who you do not explicitly trust - your friends and family. If you want to allow anyone to play on your server - even people you do not know, you will need a 24 hour server through a host such as Apex. Check them out at http://NicsGames.com/Apex.
With all of that being said, I hope you enjoyed this video, and I really hope it helped you out. If you did enjoy it, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. It really helps me, and it means a lot to me. Thank you very much in advance!
