FAQ
Q: It keeps saying "Java is not recognized as an internal or external source". What do I do? This article will help you fix that issue.
A: Follow it step-by-step:
http://RKT.us/6yG
Q: I did everything correctly, but no one can join my server! What should I do?
A: Make sure that you're port forward has your IPv4 as your internal IP, and that you have both UDP and TCP being forward. Most routers have the TCP/UDP option that will work, but some do require you to add them separately. Also, make sure the port that is forwarded is "25565".
Q: After typing my default gateway into my browser, I don't get a login box/window. How do I fix it?
A: Contact your ISP (internet service provider), and tell them you are trying to login to your router and the default gateway didn't pull up a login page. They should be able to help you.

About this video: In this video, I show you exactly how to start a Minecraft 1.9 server that is completely free. This is a step-by-step tutorial on setting up and running your very own 1.9 Minecraft server without having to pay for a remote 24 hours server host. This is an in-depth tutorial and shows you how to troubleshoot and work around sound of the problems you may be having when it comes to installing a Minecraft 1.9 server. That means if you have no knowledge when it comes to setting up a Minecraft server in 1.9, this video should be able to help you out.
By following the process to set up a 1.9 Minecraft server, you will be able to play Minecraft 1.9 with your friends and family using your own internet connect. With that being said, this is NOT a public Minecraft 1.9 server. This is a server for just your friends and family to use, and you should not give out the IP of this server to anyone who you do not completely trust as they could do some very bad things with this IP address. If you want a public server for Minecraft 1.8, I would check out Apex Minecraft Hosting at http://NicsGames.com/Apex. They have awesome servers that will allow anyone and everyone to join!
If you have any issues with setting up your 1.9 server, please post in the comment section down below, and I or someone else who knows what they are talking about will try to help you out. I also encourage you to look in the description above for answers to questions and issues that you have as I have created a FAQ, and you will most likely find the answer to your issue their. Nevertheless, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already. It really does help me out, and it means a lot to me. Thank you in advance.
