Spotify Group Sessions is Missing?
Spotify Group Sessions is currently is beta and may not be available in your country. If you do not see the group session option in your Spotify app, I recommend uninstalling the app then reinstalling it.
Follow the steps below to start a group session on Spotify:
1. Open the Spotify app on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Open a song on Spotify.
3. With the song open, select the icon in the bottom left of Spotify. This icon should look like a monitor and a speaker.
4. Scroll down and select Start Session under Start a Group Session.
5. Once you have started the Spotify Session, select invite friends. There are three methods for inviting friends.
β’ Get a link to your group session for sharing on social media or else where
β’ SMS text an invite to your group session
β’ Allow your friends to scan a Spotify code that adds them to your group session.
How to end a group session on Spotify:
1. Open a song on Spotify.
2. With the song open, select the icon in the bottom left of Spotify. This icon should look like a monitor and a speaker.
3. Scroll down and select End Session under Group Session.
How to leave a group session on Spotify:
1. Open a song on Spotify.
2. With the song open, select the icon in the bottom left of Spotify. This icon should look like a monitor and a speaker.
3. Scroll down and select Leave Session under Group Session.
