Lately I’ve identified a lot of behaviors are an intrinsic part of me that have contributed to my unhappiness and are fueled by fear of a singular emotion: GUILT. While you may not experience the exact problems or have the same fears, it might be a good exercise to identify emotions you’re afraid to feel and how to act to avoid encountering those emotions in your life.

I go into lengths about how GUILT rules my life and how I hope I’ll never have to feel like a burden ever again by doing and not doing a list of things.

The book I talked to in the video is: Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy By David Burns ( https://www.amazon.com/Feeling-Good-New-Mood-Therapy/dp/0380810336 ). I highly, highly recommend a read through this book, do yourself a favor and pick it up during the holidays. This includes whether you feel like you’re mentally healthy or not, you’d be surprised what you can learn about your own cognitive distortions. It teaches you how to FEEL GOOD and how you can curate that yourself.
