2In Counter-Strike 2, there isn’t a direct option to disable joining games that are already in progress. However, here are some workarounds you can try:
Change Permissions in Lobby:
If you’re playing with friends, create a lobby and set the permissions to “Private” or “Public” to control who can join.
You can also choose “No Team Tag” in the Steam Group Tag settings.
Console Commands:
Open the console using the tilde key (~) (make sure it’s enabled in Game Settings).
Type the following commands:
cl_invites_only_friends 1 (only friends can invite you)
cl_invites_only_mainmenu 1 (invites are only shown in the main menu)2.
Remove Friends from Your List:
If you want to prevent specific friends from joining, remove them from your friend list or set your profile to private/offline
