- End task Windows 10 update assistant from Task Manager.
- Go to Settings - Network & Internet - Wifi. Set as metered connection as ON.
Notes: If you are using broadband internet on PC, go to Control Panel - Network Setting - Ethernet
- Open . Find Windows 10 update assistant and stop it.
- Restart your computer
