Hi!

Mage has been the class to be in Classic Vanilla...as Frost! Things have changed in Outland, Fire and Arcane are dominating and outdpsing it by far. Still none of those two, are fully utilized, without talents from frost tree.
Being pure dps class, mage is quite good at doing it's job. Beside dps mage is quite useful out of combat as well, check the video to see why would you level a mage or bring it to raid.
