This goes over some of my recomendations on how to beat Salmon Run. This clip focuses on Rush. Or what everyone calls "Glowflies" because Mr. Grizz doesn't make clear of the event's name.

This... honestly... is by far the hardest event in Splatoon 3. And there was so much I had to say, I couldn't even put in the "Favored Weapon Types". But I did state that anything that does 50 damage will 1-shot the rush chums. And I'm sure you can imply that anything that can deal 500 damage will one-shot goldies.
Yeah. Unless you have voice chat with your teamates and/or good teamwork cooperation, this might end your shift early. Imo, the developers made this mode to hard intentionally or not, and it's not ballanced. The Goldies need to drop more than 3 eggs, I'm saying this because I'm noticing how tight my team's delivery count is compared to other rounds... this one triggers the most specials.

So yeah. Scalling the wall is a tactic a lot of Eggsecutives are aware off, but it seems that the developers foudn a way to fight that strategy by making the Chums attack anyone in their way and making the Goldie drops more spread out. I feel that's not good for balancing since not all shifts are going to have a weapon that quicky kills chums, who often move faster than what players would react to. I think they need to slow down, which defeats the purpose of rush, but I'm sure many players get splatted before they react due to how fast the chums/goldies run.

Also, I called it "Glowflies" in the title and thumbnail because most people aren't aware that the event's real name is "Rush", and "Glowflies" has become it's internet name.

(By "internet name" I mean what people call it on the internet or from verified Big YouTubers. For example, "Overpowered" and "Underpowered" are antonyms that represent the preformance of a weapon/skill in a game, but they have formed internet names of "OP" and "Bad"/"Trash"/"Dogwater" because most people these days get their vocabulary from Gaming YouTubers, most of whom probably don't have a bachelor's degree. Well... okay. I don't have one either, but I'm 19.7 years old. I'll be getting mine soon enough.)
