How to turn a Raster Image into a Vector SVG with Photoshop
In this episode I'll show you how to turn a simple screen grab into vectorised curve information in Photoshop and export the result as SVG file. This can be useful if you'd like to extrude a rasterised logo in your favourite 3D application like Blender. For kicks, I'll also show you how to create a 3D extrusion directly in Photoshop (although we won't be doing anything with it).
This episode was inspired by two simple logos I've recently created with Blender (for my DAZ Studio 101 series, and for my WordPress podcast - they both follow the same pattern). In an upcoming video I'll show you how to create the rest of that logo.
