If you’re not a fan of Google Assistant or simply prefer not to use it, you can easily turn it off on your Motorola Edge 50 Neo. This guide will show you how to disable Google Assistant and stop it from popping up when you press the home button or say "Hey Google."

Steps to Turn Off Google Assistant on Motorola Edge 50 Neo:

Open Google Settings:

Open the Settings app.

Scroll down and tap Google.

Select Account services.

Disable Google Assistant:

Tap Search, Assistant & Voice.

Select Google Assistant.

Toggle off the switch next to Google Assistant to turn it off.

Optional – Turn Off Voice Activation:

Under the Assistant settings, you can also turn off Hey Google to prevent it from activating when you say the trigger phrase.

To do this, tap Voice Match, then toggle off Hey Google.

What Happens When You Turn Off Google Assistant:

Google Assistant will no longer activate when you press and hold the home button or say "Hey Google."

You can still use other Google features, like Google Search or Google Maps, without Assistant.

Important Notes:

Turning off Google Assistant means you won’t be able to use voice commands, but you can always re-enable it by following the same steps.

If you need hands-free functionality again, simply turn Google Assistant back on.
